Chef Patrick Wedge
For those of you who don't know me, which is probably about all of you, I have been dabbling in the inking hobby for about 4 years now. It is something that I have found kinda fun to do. I know, I know, that is really pathetic, but it is true. I like inking. So enjoy or laugh, I don't care, but just look.
Influences:
Artwork - Mike Mignola (been a fan from the first time I saw his art); Kevin Nowlan (as an inker, it is quite easy to see why); Joe Quesada (hands down, the best graphic artist out there); David Mack (who's art and story inspire the piss out of me); Michael Lark (way, way underated) and many others. These are the artists that really have made an impact in my work.
Writers - Mignola again (stories are just fun); Brian Michael Bendis (you probably know him now, but the man is nothing short of dialog genius); David Mack (what more can I say, he breaks the confines of standard storytelling and rises above); and many others. We have a great number of writers out in the industry today, but please support some of the "lesser" writers. Both Bendis and Mack started small before they got "noticed". |

Depending on the topic of my site, I could include historical information about my subject. For example, if my site is about my business, I could discuss how my business got started. If my site is about a sports team, music group, movie star, or my family, I could chronologically list or summarize major events important to my topic.
Lee Ferguson
Lee Ferguson has been my best friend for so long that I don't remember. He is an up and coming artist that will, yes, will get into this comic business someday. If the big boys haven't scooped him up by the time you read this, bug anyone with connections to get him on their book. The boy has skills. He has bugged the crap out of Joe Quesada for a couple of years and Joe has critiqued his stuff to the point that he just says, "I don't know what more you want me to say, but just draw more". Check out his site to look at his art.
